Welcome to Your Freedom Season, run by MADI DESIGN LLC, DBA Your Freedom Season, in California. By using yourfreedomseason.com and its subdomains (the "site"), or buying one of our products, you agree to these terms. They're written to be read, not skimmed past, so they're short.
What the site is
The site offers courses, free guides, templates and emails about building a simple online business. It's educational. We share what we've done and what's worked for us; you decide what to do with it.
Buying a product
Our paid products are sold through Stan, which handles checkout, payment and delivery. When you buy, Stan's terms of service apply to the transaction alongside these terms. Prices are shown at checkout in US dollars and may change; the price you pay is the one shown when you buy.
Refunds. Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. If something you bought isn't working, email mel@yourfreedomseason.com and we'll make it right.
Using what you buy or download
Everything on the site and in our products (text, videos, workbooks, prompts, templates, designs) belongs to MADI DESIGN LLC, DBA Your Freedom Season or is licensed to us. When you buy or download something, you get a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own business. That means you can:
- Use the prompts, templates and lessons to make your own content and products.
- Edit the templates and publish what you make with them.
And you cannot:
- Share, resell, give away or republish the course, workbook, guide, prompts or templates themselves, in whole or in part, including inside your own product.
- Share your login or the course materials with anyone else.
- Claim the materials as your own.
The free guide is free for your personal use on the same basis.
No guarantees about results
We share real numbers and real results from our own business, including a public goal we're working toward. Those are our results, not a promise or prediction of yours. How your business does depends on your product, your audience, your effort and plenty of things outside anyone's control. Nothing on the site is financial, legal or tax advice; for those, talk to a professional who knows your situation.
AI tools
Our courses show how we use AI tools such as Claude to speed up drafting and planning. Those tools are run by other companies under their own terms, their output can be wrong, and you're responsible for checking anything you publish. Your ideas and your final decisions stay yours.
Affiliate links
Some links on the site are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only link to tools we use ourselves.
Your account and conduct
If a product gives you an account or login, keep it to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using it. Don't use the site or our materials for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms other people or the site.
Other sites and services
The site links to other companies (Stan, Flodesk, Instagram, Canva, Claude and others). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, terms or how they handle your information.
Limits on our liability
The site and our products are provided as they are. To the fullest extent the law allows, MADI DESIGN LLC, DBA Your Freedom Season isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the site or our products, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for the product the claim is about. Nothing here limits rights that the law says can't be limited.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California.
